✈️ How a Wireless Iron Got My Suitcase Locked – TSA Trouble on My Flight

Image
I recently flew to Saipan from Korea and had an unexpected issue with my suitcase - all because of a wireless iron I packed.  Before boarding, I received a call from the airline staff saying they needed to remove my wireless iron from my checked-in suitcase. Since it was locked, I gave them the combination code.  My suitcase is a Swiss Military Seraphic 28-inch model, which uses a three-digit code lock system only. However, when I arrived in Saipan and picked up my suitcase, I noticed that the lock code had been changed.  Even worse, one of the dials could now be opened with any random numbers. On top of that, I was unable to reset the code myself.

🐋 Whale Watching Tour in Gold Coast, Australia

Image
During my trip to the Gold Coast, Australia, I applied for a whale-watching tour - something I had been really excited about!  📍   Tour Location Aqua Adventure Centre Marina, 95 Marine Parade, Southport QLD 4215 Austrailia https://maps.app.goo.gl/Fg6bJwViDT5N88WAA     Unfortunately, my original tour was canceled due to bad weather, so I had to reschedule it for another day.  Luckily, the other day's weather was a bit better, and I finally got to join the tour! As soon as I got on the boat, the tour guides handed out snacks and offered  hot beverages like coffee and tea before departure.  The weather was cloudy, and the waves were quite big that day. I had to hold onto the railing tightly because the boat was rocking a lot!  Then, all of a sudden, people started shouting excitedly and gathering near the side of the boat - and there were the whales!  I saw so many whales swimming and breaching near our boat. The captain said we were very lucky...

Saipan Hotel Review | Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts Saipan

Image
I visited Saipan and stayed at the Crowne Plaza hotel for 2nights.   The hotel provides a shuttle service, but please note that it's not free.  It costs $20 per adult and $10 for a child (one way). I used a Korean taxi instead, which was $20 for two people.  It takes about 20 minutes from the airport.  👉 Book on Agoda The room was clean and modern.  The bed was comfortable, and both the air conditioner and the Wi-Fi worked very well.  .    On the first floor (lobby), there's a small shop and a coffee shop. You can buy snacks, drinks, swimsuits, shoes, and even some casual clothes. The coffee was good and the bread was delicious! If you ask for take-out, they will give you a box so you can take it with you. The swimming pool was nice and the sunbeds were really comfortable. I was able to borrow a swim towel near the pool area.  The overall vibe was peaceful. This hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere - especially at sunset!  You can...

Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Trip - National Elephant Conservation Centre

Image
I visited Kuala Gandah, Malaysia to see elephants at the National Elephant Conservation Centre.  https://maps.app.goo.gl/CzSr5XzXhjtfAymB6 The operation time is 10:30 AM ~ 15:30PM. I recommend visiting early since the place closes quite early in the afternoon. I took about 2 hours by car, but we stopped by a rest area and had some snacks.  Luckily, the weather was clear and there were plenty of parking spaces available. Before entering, visitors need to fill out a short registration form. The entrance fee is free, but donations are welcome to help support the center.  As soon as I entered, I could see the elephant right away!  To feed them, you can buy bananas or bamboo for 3RM (bamboo) only in cash. You can also get a schedule leaflet from the reception to check the time for the shows and other information.  There was a baby elephant section, too. It's surrounded by a large fence compared to the big elephants, but you're still allowed to feed them freely...
